I have to say that this is a great product. I keep reading it is very hard to do,all I have to say is that I have never installed one until these two that I ordered. I changed two in about one hour and 20 minutes. After looking at a few You tube videos on how to change it, i got the idea and went for it. Now both My Iphones look brand new. Id give it a 2 out of five in the dificulty scale. and a five out of five for the greatness of the product. All you need is the time to do it, because they send you everything you need.

I just got done installing this product on my iPhone 3G in about 1 1/2 hours. Just to clear things up I was not sure if I wanted to do this on my own but I found some online help on how to instal [...] they have video tutorials on youtube that are exactly what you need I have never installed anything like this before much less have the nerve to take apart an iPhone! One thing to buyers who have a 3gS and are asking if this product is compatible: I am not completely sure because I have seen on other sites the 3gS replacement IS different like I have said I am not completely sure but I would advise those 3gS users to look into it! I would recomend anyone this product because it includes all the tools needed. And do it yourself it sounds much harder than what it really is plus you have the benifit of saying "I did it myself".
*****HELPFUL TIP FOR THOSE INSTALLING IT ON THEIR OWN:
*****FIRST: When separating the Digitizer form the back of the phone I recoment using the sucction tool.
*****SECCOND: When separating the Digitizer from the plastic frame make sure to separate it form the inside not the outside for this will damage the ruber seal on the outside of the plastic frame!

I really really shattered the glass on my iphone 3g. The LCD was fine. Opted to replace myself and the replace went well, except for the shattered glass cutting my fingers and the blood then damaged the LCD. I put it back together and it works fine, though I have lines and black areas on the LCD now. No fault of the seller, its was easy and the directions were done well. I would recommend if you have very shattered glass, maybe sending off to Zeetron for repair, they seen to do a great business and I will be getting a new LCD from them to replace myself.

Works every bit as well as the original glass and digitizer. Beware the instructions on the YouTube video to use a hot air gun to release the frame - it's very, very easy to warp the frame in three dimensions when it's hot. Overall, though, this is a reasonable process for anyone comfortable with putting a screw back in their eyeglasses or threading a needle.
